Working through the plan

The action plan is one list across cost, security, backups and governance, ranked by money and risk.

How actions are ranked

Each action has an impact (a monthly saving or a risk level), an effort (a quick fix, an hour or two, or a project) and comes first when it matters most. Critical security basics — like admin accounts without MFA or remote desktop open to the internet — sit at the top.

Fix guides

Open an action for why it matters, who should do it, the change risk (Safe to do, Check first or Plan a window) and step-by-step instructions in the Azure portal, with a link to Microsoft’s own documentation. CloudLens never makes the change for you.

Fixed, snoozed or not relevant

  • I fixed this hides the action. If the next check still finds the issue, it comes back marked “still detected”.
  • Snooze hides it for a week or a month.
  • Not relevant hides it until you choose Show again in the hidden list.

Owners and admins can set status. It is saved by the agent in your own storage, and the count of fixes shows on the plan and in the weekly summary.

Your first three fixes

For new organizations the overview shows the three quickest wins with a progress bar — usually about fifteen minutes each.

Are we safe?

Seven checks in plain words: MFA for admin accounts, remote access, public files, private databases, backups, threat protection and critical issues. Each is Yes, No or Unknown — never guessed. These are the questions cyber-insurance forms and auditors usually ask.
